The hardest thing is the door mouldings that were removed and the channel they sat in was filled. I just used vinyl to replicate it.

Otherwise....Uhhh...it hasn't been too bad actually. There's enough of these things being parted out on the CRX forum I didn't have any trouble, and things like seals are still available as OEM replacements

Nope. I need to take it to a shop and have them loosen the crank bolt so I can get it at home.

Right now I'm actually seeing about having a shop do it. Jay Lauer's dad owns a shop, and I'm likely having him do the rear window seals so I'll probably have him do the belt too.

My fave is the Elmiraj, easy. That car is so fucking perfect in every way,it just oozes swagger. As good as it is in pictures, it is 5000x better in person. It feels like every great Cadillac coupe that came before it; the '49 Coupe deVille, the '59 Eldorado Biarritz, the '67 Eldorado....their spirit lives on in the Elmiraj. If I ever win the mega millions, I'm making GM a 7 figure offer on it. I want that car more than I want my arms. It's rare that I call a car PERFECT, but that's what the Elmiraj is. It's the perfect modern caddy. Isn't a wannabe bimmer like most their lineup, isn't full of compromise under the guise of "traditional luxury" like Lincoln, it's a confident, competitive, well sorted, beautiful, powerful luxury car, without conforming to the standard tropes like other luxe cars. It's everything I love about Cadillac, everything they mean to me- rolled up into one stellar car. And it isn't going to production.

the seats themselves are a little corny to me. I think a nice modern take on a pillowtop style would be better, but that's just me.

I think they can't make it because anti monopoly laws. If they made that nobody would buy anything else, and mercedes, the rat bastards they are, will go crying to congress like they did in the 80s to cause the 25 year law those SNITCH MOTHERFUCKERS, but anyway that's beside the point.....where was I? Haha Mercedes would be super pissed because Maybach would fail AGAIN. All the rappers and star athletes would be buying the Caddy.

The seat pattern is weird. They look fine from the upper side view. If they just gave them more padding and changed the "striped" look they could be fine.
